About this post:
I did not cover “all” issues relating to the house on this page but generally focused on the damages Napoli Assets LLC caused or allowed to get out of hand to our home of 19 years, over the last 9 years. I did make some guesses about “when” specific things happened in this post, for example, I guessed when the landlord installed defective appliances on the property. I don’t remember when they were put into the house, but they were installed quite possibly as a result of the letter I wrote in 2015 addressed to Napoli Assets LLC about issues relating to the house.
19 year pest issue:
This property will always have pests, all that matters is how the residents handle the situation. We suffered a lot of issues resulting from pests like damaged books, food, and clothes, but if the landlord showed concern he’d have meshes nailed to the windows, specifically in front of the house. Lack of meshes means windows and doors can not be opened to air the house out. This also means moisture buildup can cause rapid growth of mold due to lack of air circulation. Furthermore, some of the front windows are not properly sealed so bugs come in whenever they like.
19 year water issue:
Over the last 19 years, the water ran black from every pipe in the house. It was more noticeable in the bathroom I used because up to 5 people use it daily and the tub ends up with a thick black residue. Cleaning chemicals make no dent in this residue, only hardcore scrubbing works to remove it. Failure to scrub this off or manage it results in a very slippery tub after soap residue binds with the black residue. My down-syndrome brother has slipped in the tub and broken his jaws because of this issue. The tub is therefore death to anyone who can’t commit hours into scrubbing it weekly. I wonder after we leave Douglas St. and some unsuspecting family rents this house, how many accidents or deaths will occur because of common human stupidity and landlord negligence. I suspect there will be much death, pain and suffering after we leave.
2014-Napoli Assets LLC broke our driveway:
Newly acquired property owner rolled onto the driveway in a heavy vehicle. The weight of the vehicle caused the driveway to collapse. The driveway was not meant to support such weight, considering under it has the roots of the oak tree in front of the house. Property owner had hole filled with pebbles. Driveway has not been fixed or paved over the last 9 years and remains questionable.
2014-Napoli Assets LLC caused house flooding:
Property owner sends man to dig around house foundation to open holes for pests to get into walls. As a result the loose soil allowed for flooding into the foundation and walls. Pests used these entries to get in. These holes were previously closed up before Napoli Assets LLC opened them. They were sealed up again after the hurricane and subsequent flooding in 2017 by my family.
2014-Napoli Assets LLC screwed pest nest in the kitchen:
Due to solf walls suffering from moisture, cupboards fell off the kitchen wall. Perhaps this issue was caused by the pests in the wall between the kitchen and bathroom that damaged the plumbing and caused the wall to be soft, and so the wooden cupboards fell off the wall in the kitchen as a result. There were no injuries but these cupboards are home to pests and should have been removed from the house. Napoli Assets LLC screwed back the pest nest which were useless to us over the last 20 years due to roaches nesting in them. We are unable to use these cupboards because of the consistency of pests and the chemical trails they leave. Highly recommend removing these cupboards and installing open floating shelves.

2014-Napoli Assets LLC damaged the dishwasher:
In an attempt to install a new garbage disposal in the kitchen sink, damages occured to the dishwasher. The dishwasher became obsolete and is unable to be closed. 9 years later and we have tape holding the dishwasher door up. None of us have used the garbage disposal or dishwasher over the last 9 years. We have a metal sink drain cover and throw away food scraps directly to the garbage.
2015-Napoli Assets LLC cost us 30% of our possessions:
Landlord has genius idea to tent house under oak tree, missing window meshes and proper patio walls. Instead of putting meshes on the windows, doors and sealing off all possible pest entries the landlord chose to tent the house. This decision forced my mother to pack 30% of the items from the house into the backyard storage. As a result of mold in the storage we lost all food and personal items she stored. Tenting of the house killed current pests, however as the house had open pest entries and pest nests, pests returned immediately.
2015-Napoli Assets LLC caused rat shit and mold to blow in our faces:
By refusing to replace damaged vent tubes discovered in 2015, consequently rat shit, roof debris and fungus flowed out of vents. This gross negligence later caused the AC unit to stop cooling the house and stay on consistently. A lot of debris flowed through the unit causing it to become permanently clogged. As the unit was unable to manage humidity or cool the house moisture became an issue throughout the rooms, especially in the vents. Starting in 2019, water leaked out of vents, and mold grew around vent covers. This moldy air full of rat shit soaked our skin, the ceiling, and anything it reached.
2015-Napoli Assets LLC causes damages to washer and dryer:
As a result of refusing to apply my suggestion to install washer and dryer hookups inside the “2nd kitchen” aka closet in the garage side of the house, damages occured to our machines. The patio leaked when the house changed ownership and it did not have proper walls. Our machines were stored and being used everyday on the patio. We went through many machines over the years because they rusted very fast. The rust occured when water leaked on to them from holes in the patio roof.
*2016-Napoli Assets LLC doesn’t seal toilet:
This house always has plumbing issues, which is why we don’t flush anything down the toilet. The toilets in this house can’t handle human stool without 3 flushes and waiting 1.5hrs. At some point the toilet was replaced by the homeowner however it was not sealed. Human excrement comes out of the base of the toilet because the toilet was not sealed to the ground.

*2016-Napoli Assets LLC installed defective fridge:
Very straightforward, the cheapo company named Napoli Assets LLC put in a refrigerator with a deep crack in the inside. The fridge leaked Freon onto food and did not cool properly. My family purchased a new fridge in 2020 to replace the defective one. The defective fridge from the homeowner still remains on the property, stored in the back shed.
*2016-Napoli Assets LLC installed defective stove:
Very straightforward, the cheapo landlord put in a stove that sparked when it’s turned on. This stove was immediately removed from the premises by my family, whom immediately purchased a new replacement.
2019-Napoli Assets LLC ignored mold growing out of vents:
After moisture soaked into the vent tubes and water leaked out of vents, mold grew on the ceilings around the vents. The landlord was told and he ignored it. This continued until 2023 after I attempted to mediate repairs through the inspector general. This failure to replace vent tubes caused my mother the loss of her toenails and as a consequence vein surgery. Her feet remained red, swollen and so she needed surgery for proper blood circulation to her feet. If her feet was not constantly being attacked by mold spores because she slept under the vent this surgery would not have been needed. Some of us suffered sharp ear pains from fungal infections during this time frame resulting in hearing loss.

2020-Napoli Assets LLC can’t patch patio:
As a result of the landlord being useless, my family put a new roof and walls on the patio to protect our appliances from rain and deter pests from entering the house through the patio.

2023-Napoli Assets LLC destroyed my mom’s feet:
Failure to replace vent tubes or add bug meshes to front windows since 2015 led to the central AC unit malfunctioning, which caused moisture build-up around vents. This moisture stayed as the air was not being properly circulated leading to the rapid growth of mold. The malfunctioning AC stayed consistently “on” pushing mold spores from vents directly onto nearby surfaces. One of these surfaces was my mother’s feet, as her bed and feet are directly under the AC vent. The fungus on her feet refused treatment and got worse over 4 years. She lost both of her toenails and ended up having to do vein surgery because of poor circulation in her legs. Over those years she saw doctors, got new shoes/socks and also had no reason to progressively get worst.

2023-Napoli Assets LLC sent men to break roof:
As a result of sending contractors to chop tree branches above my room, the roof was broken. There was nothing wrong with the tree, therefore men should not have gone there. I sent an e-mail to stop this immediately to the landlord, but men returned a day after to continue damaging the roof. The ceiling leaked for 3 months before collapsing onto my bed. The cheapo landlord accepted $184,000 in rent from my family over 9 years and couldn’t put a tarp over the damaged roof, couldn’t reinforce the ceiling or dry up the water to prevent the collapse.
2023-Napoli Assets LLC destroyed my possessions:
The cheapo landlord failed to send a hazard team to clean up the ceiling collapse. Landlord waited 30 days before sending a guy to patch the 8×4 feet hole in the ceiling. The room remained in hazardous condition for 2 months after the ceiling collapsed. Everything in the room became soaked in mold spores and remained hazardous to health. Most things are not salvageable due to gross negligence by landlord.
2023-Napoli Assets LLC attempted to murder myself and Zoey with house:
The landlord sent men twice to be on the roof for what reason? Specifically, the part of the roof over my bed? Took 90 days to start fixing roof damage, only after ceiling collapsed? Ceiling collapsed specifically where I slept? Took 30 days to address the ceiling hole? Refused to utilize professional hazard team after ceiling collapse? Allowed my 11-year-old daughter to clean collapse debris off her things, after putting her out of a place to sleep? How is this not gross negligence leading to attempted murder? If Zoey and I were sleeping when the ceiling collapsed, that giant rock on the bed would have smashed our faces.
2023-Napoli Assets LLC covered our belongings in rat shit and roof debris:
Aside from the collapsed ceiling which the landlord failed to address, while the men worked on the roof, our things got messed up. They drilled holes into the ceiling without covering our things in plastic so our beds got covered in moldy dust from the ceiling. Furthermore, refusing to patch the hole in the ceiling over my room caused issues there too. As they worked, they blew roof debris through the hole onto my things. For some reason, they decided to use a blower at that spot, instead of vacuuming the debris like normal people before blowing anything… My family had removed the bedding from the room which covered my things, therefore my mattress and couch got directly hit with rat shit, mold, and debris from the roof. This was a little different than the ceiling collapse since blowing debris through the hole covered everything in the room in debris.
2023-Napoli Assets LLC decided to evict us:
While living here over the last 19 years we also managed the property throughout that time. We managed it before my grandfather died due to a housing issue in 2011, before this bad landlord, through the fevers from Hentavirus, the ear infections, and the moldy air and walls.
The same thing that happened to my mother’s feet between 2019 and 2023 happened to my grandfather before 2011. He slept with his feet in front of the vent in the garage side of the house. 2 years of suffering from a toe infection which refused to go away despite treatment, his bad circulation led to surgeries and amputation of his toe. He died in 2011 of blood loss because at his age it was hard to recover.
The point is, living under these circumstances had been dire and often life-threatening not because we couldn’t manage the house, but because Napoli Assets LLC made it so, through cheapo decisions which worsened our living conditions. Therefore, it’s stupid to evict us when Napoli Assets LLC has been the problem to the house and our health.
2023-Napoli forced myself and Zoey to sleep on the floor with roaches:
We know that pests run amock in the house, therefore if the landlord destroyed where we could sleep the only place left was the floor. Before 2020 we slept on the bunk bed, but after the mold issue spread to the wood on the bed, we moved to the couch. From 2020-2023 October, we slept on the couch under the vent in the room under the oak tree. Don’t worry, I put a UV light in the vent, vent cloth on the vent cover and had an air purifier. Mold spores did come out of the vent over the last 4 years, but it primarily only affected me and not Zoey. It’s not like if we slept on the bed or floor made any difference to pests. This video is my POV from the ground looking up at a roach which was investigating some empty containers.
Napoli Assets LLC Summary:
This disgusting company needs to be sued for gross negligence. Made no sense to evict tenants because the cheapo company can’t uphold basic Florida landlord duties. This company took $184,000 in rent over 9 years from my family and just look at our suffering because the company ignored replacing vent tubes since 2015. We had to replace how many appliances because of the dumb landlord? This landlord attempted to kill us how many times? Combustible stove? Freon leaking on food because of defective fridge? Gross negligence with handling the ceiling leak as a result of sending men to damage the roof? My mother lost her toe nails and now has issues with blood circulation to her feet. My sister lost hearing. My brother barely recovered from skin infections. We never had to suffer like this if Napoli Assets LLC replaced the vent tubes in 2015. Now after putting us through all of this, taking so much money from us, his conclusion is to evict us from our 19 year residence?
I don’t agree with the decision-making process of this landlord and while I have offered him simple solutions to prevent catastrophic issues, he chose to ignore me consistently. If he got the vent tubes fixed after I wrote him in 2015, the next step would be to remove pest nests from the kitchen, which would be removing the cupboards. Instead he broke the roof, etc etc damages.
Have you caught on that Napoli Assets LLC has been a disaster to our home and health?
If you as the reader caught on to the idea that the house stopped being habitable since Napoli Assets LLC became its owner, your intuition would be correct. It’s not exactly because it got an owner who hardly stepped foot into the house. These things happened because of gross negligence from the property owner by failing to listen to those who live in the house. When I came here and saw the issues, I cleaned, I bought things, I maintained and I got pest entries patched up. I was diligent and consistently managed issues daily. There’s so much unnecessary careless negligence that came from Napoli Assets LLC, my head spins just thinking about how much my mother has suffered throughout the last 9 years trying to cook in a kitchen full of rat shit.
As you know, we’ve been evicted now. Personally I know these issues are manageable as I’ve explained how to fix the pest issue in the kitchen, which after fixing would turn said uninhabitable kitchen back into a useable kitchen. My point is, if I owned this house I wouldn’t abuse or neglect it. My sister, brother, and Zoey grew up here. I spent my teenage/Naruto/anime years in this house. The best memories I have are of me sitting in this room making content on the Internet. I’ve always been at my best creatively when I’ve lived here. This house holds all of our memories from the time that we could remember well. Leaving will be the same as giving up a huge chunk of our lives and future…
