The neighbor sharing my wall is “booming” me:

We’re constantly bombarded with noise from our next-door neighbor. Day and night, the stomping, bouncing balls, and furniture dragging create unbearable sounds that permeate our entire living space. Despite intervention from the leasing office, the issue escalated, and the young adult interfering with our peace continues to persist the disturbance.

I have:

• Spoken to the leasing office
• Recorded some of the noise aka the “boom” vibrations
• Called the none emergency local police line
• Uses noise-canceling headphones (doesn’t cancel “booms”)
• Spoken to the neighbor above us who hears it too
• Knocked on the wall during the noise
• Screamed through the wall during the noise
• Tased the wall during the noise
• Filed complaints with the local ordinance

This is not the entire list of noises but only what I woke up to, grabbed my phone, and noted.

• 2024.08.09: We’ve identified that it’s a grown man who has been bouncing a ball through out the night. Last night he had been bouncing from 11pm and didn’t stop until 10am today. Today my mother is having a bypass surgery, so she will need to rest tonight.
