Micheal Napoli attempted to kill us with his property.
2003 – My grandfather & uncle bought a house
Douglas St.
– My uncle put in a bathroom, kitchen & door in the “garage” portion of the house.
– The idea was to give my grandfather his own space.
– My uncle & his family moved to a bigger house, then rented his old space to my family.2004 – Moved to Douglas St.
House Issues:
– Roaches (normal because it’s under an oak tree)
– Tar residue in pipes (unusual)2005 – Hurricane Katrina
Category 4 Hurricane:
– The Eye was above our house for a while.
– Damage to the roof occurred.
– The ceiling over the kitchen fell through
– I was out of school for 2 weeks.
– My uncles replaced the roof.2006 – Scrubbing the tub took 4 hours
Tar in Pipes:
– Tar residue from the water was challenging to get out.
– 17-year-old me attempted to mix chemicals to get the black residue out of the tub.
– Destroyed my ability to properly breathe for a while.Roaches:
– I sealed the window stills with thick napkins to prevent roaches from entering my room.
– 17-year-old me washed and cleaned everything to keep roaches at bay in my room.
– No roaches existed under my watch where my sister and I slept.Did we have an Air Conditioner?
– The internal temperature was always similar to the outside.
– It was always unbearably hot or cold.No more school!
– I stopped leaving the house.
– I became a full-time 24/7 stay in her room computer junkie/bathroom scrubber.2008 – “I want her out of the house”
Left for the Air Force:
– My Mom signed me up for the USAF because people around her didn’t want me in the house.
– My diligence in caring for the house ended.
– Can they keep the house safe for my 8-year-old sister & down-syndrome brother?2009 – My vocational leave to home after 17 months away!
I was in training:
– My basic training was 10 weeks when it should have been 6.
– My technical training was 14 months because of the job I was selected for.
– After all of that, before I became permanent party at Keesler AFB, I went home. How did I spend my 21st birthday? Well, I…
– went home for a month, and I cleaned every day.
– bought my sister a bunk bed.
– bought 2 desks, one each for my sister and brother.
– collected every lost pencil, pen, crayon, and marker and organized them all.
– collected every hair comb, loose hair tie, nail polish, and book.
– bought drawers and containers for every scattered item.
– organized and cleaned my sister’s bedroom, the bathroom, and the living room.
– did all of this to make a safe, clean, and organized space for my family.
– set all of this up, so they wouldn’t need me, and I wouldn’t have to worry.I also noticed something strange during my leave…
– The ground echoed and faint electric currents ran through the floor.
– This would mean an empty spot opened under the house, aka a sink hole.2010 – Slipped in the tub
Dangerous situation:
– The tar residue prevents soap from getting properly rinsed out.
– Imagine a thick layer of black slime that has to be scrubbed out.
– My down-syndrome brother slipped and broke his jaw while showering in the tub.
– I was in another state, and my mother was at work, so the question was “Who was home?”
– So they want me out of the house, but they can’t scrub the tub?
– Was the damage to my brother intended? What’s happening to my brothers skin?
– His feet had turned out into huge warts.
– His skin had staff infections the size of my palms.
– He slept in the room with the air conditioning unit under the oak tree.2011 – Difficult Year
Grandfather died:
– The negligence continues with my grandfather.
– He suffered a toe fungus which led to an amputation.
– Instead of watching him, because people are delirious under medication.
– He was left to wander the streets, suffered blood loss, and died.
– My mother was at work, so who was home to watch my grandfather?
– So they want me out of the house, but they can’t watch my grandfather?
– Was the neglect intentional? My Wedding:
– I planned my wedding without a clue about weddings.
– I turned all my cousins into bridesmaids and groomsmen.
– The idea was to have a backyard reception at Douglas St. and Hollywood Beach wedding.
– My mother paid her landlord (my uncle) to paint the house.
– It’s curious how the tenant had to pay and payment didn’t come out of the rent.
– As he was my favorite uncle, I curved my anger at him for exploiting my mother.
– Branches over the house were cut and removed.
– New grass was planted in the backyard.
– My mother was a mess because she put the blame on herself for my grandfather’s death.
– His funeral was 2 months before my wedding there.
– I didn’t cancel because I assumed this situation would lift everyone’s spirits.
– I forced them to focus on something else other than their loss by doing this.Rats:
– After my grandfather’s passing, rats took up residence in his section of the house.
– His door was sealed up and the rats eventually left his side of the house.2014 – Returning to Douglas St.
My Return:
– I brought back my 2-year-old daughter.
– My Mother, Brother, and Sister were excited for me to return.
– Everyone else didn’t want me back, I wonder why.New owner:
– I suppose my uncle couldn’t handle capitalism as well as he thought he could.
– The house got a new owner @Napoli Assets. The driveway earns a sinkhole:
– I wasn’t there to witness this.
– My daughter said a huge truck drove onto the driveway and broke the ground.
– The owner filled it with pebbles.
– Zoey was 2 years old at the time, so it’s hard to say if her memory is accurate.
– But she’s half dimensional traveler so I am inclined to believe her.The new landlord sent a guy:
– Why is this guy coming monthly to dig around the house’s foundation?
– Does he know he’s opening holes for rats to get into the sinkhole under the house?
– Was this on purpose to allow rats different entries into the house?
– Rats moved into the kitchen, bedrooms, walls, and roof. The cleaning begins:
– I had to clean pounds of rat shit out of the kitchen.
– I moved the refrigerator out of its corner.
– I posted a video of a rat in the room I slept in to youtube.By the end of 2014, we paid $11,800 in rent to Napoli Assets LLC. Even though we paid rent, the landlord did nothing about the rats. My mother and I had to clear tons of rat excrement from the bedrooms and kitchen. As a result of staying in the bedroom with the moldy AC unit, being under a vent full of rat excrement and roof debris, my brother still had large infections on his skin.
2015 – Our home was tented
Did tenting fix anything?
– Why would tenting fix anything?
– It only killed a few rats, but without closing holes they’d just return.
– This decision caused my mother a significant amount of work.
– It was the same as packing to move, moving and then returning under a few days.I don’t understand why the landlord didn’t solve the issues by:
1) Adding a mesh to all windows and doors
2) Fix the screen on the patio, so rats can’t enter that way.
3) Pack dirt in the holes around the house that his handyman opened. My stuff stayed in storage:
– No job, means no income, but I still did not trust the house.
– My stuff remained in a storage unit and I lived out of a suitcase.
– I resumed my life as a stay-in-my-room computer junkie.
– But this time, I had money to spend on games and expensive creative programs.
– My family rearranged their things to give me the room under the oak tree.
– You know the room that only my brother slept in, but his skin got infections & warts. Why did my back break out?
– As a person with skin, obviously, if dirty air gets on me I would break out.
– But I’m inside, where is the dirty air coming from?
– My computer chair was exactly under the vent in the room given to me.
– When I wore an armless shirt, exactly where my skin touched my chair, hives appeared.
– I immediately called a vent cleaner. What did we find in the vents?
– We checked the vent over my chair, it was clean but we found roof debris.
– The guy I hired cleaned one vent and refused to look at the rest.
– There were holes in the vent tubes so he could not continue until they were patched.
– I’m not the home owner so I informed my mother and wrote a letter to the landlord.I mailed this letter to the landlord addressing all issues and fixes at the time:

What was important in my letter?
– Patch the vent tubes so I can get the guy back to clean the air vent system, duh.
– Move the laundry machines from the patio to the empty closet inside the house. Why did I think the laundry machines should be inside?
– The patio door has to be opened to access the machines.
– My mother runs laundry all day because we are 6 people in this house.
– If the patio door is open, rats can enter because the patio isn’t sealed.
– The machines will have a short lifespan if exposed to the elements.
– Considering the patio roof leaked, will the machines not rust? Why was I ignored?
– My family believes if the machines were inside they would generate heat.
– My down-syndrome brother and my sister moved to my grandfather’s section of the house.
– This section stopped getting proper air circulation and is sealed off.
– The window can not be opened because there is no mesh to stop pests from entering.
– My family is not aware that room Air Conditioners cost around $200.What if they didn’t ignore me?
– Obviously, the machines would be inside, and laundry would be convenient to do.
– Air would reach that section of the house through the working vents.
– Maybe we could even open the window in that section if there was a mesh on the window. What happened because I was ignored?
– The laundry machines gathered rust because the patio roof leaked.
– We’ve gone through 4 different washers and 3 dryers since my letter.
– Rats made a home on the patio and continued to enter the kitchen from there.
– The debris from the roof entered the holes in the vents, causing the AC unit to clog.
– The AC unit’s failure to remove moisture caused mold build-up.
– Debris continued to get pushed onto surfaces from the vents.
– Dirty air full of rat shit, viruses, and mold gets pushed around.
– Fever flashes around when rat shit builds up aka hantavirus.
– If we have rats, we have to close doors, but this also means no air circulation.
– Moisture built up on walls, which became soft and penetrable.
– @Napoli Assets bought the house like this but couldn’t fix the vent tubes so it stops?
– Between the change in landlords somehow the house got neglected and stayed that way.By the end of 2015, we paid $29,500 in rent to Napoli Assets LLC. I moved into the problematic room, discovered the vent tubes had holes, and wrote a letter to the landlord. On the other hand, because my down-syndromed brother has a different room his skin improved while mine worsened. Even with my letter, the landlord did not patch/replace the vent tubes or clear out pest nests. I became a full-time gamer to keep myself from looking at the rat shit on my things.
2017 – Hurricane Irma
Loose soil
– Remember that handyman sent by Micheal Napoli to dig around the foundation of our house?
– My carpets paid the price for his actions.
– As a result of loose soil around the house, water soaked into the walls by the floor.
– Water leaked into my rugs exactly where this moron dug.
– I still don’t understand why he was desperate to owe me a $300 shag rug.By the end of 2017, my family paid $65,200 in rent yet we still suffered damages as a result of rats and roaches. I was so depressed since 2015 that by the end of this year, I had spent over $23k on Echo of Soul alone. Here’s evidence of that: Depression Album
2018 – Trying to give my suitcase a break
Why didn’t I press to fix the issues?
– I continued to maintain the bathroom & stopped the males from using it.
– I was already a “force” in the house, and the issues appeared to be getting looked at.
– For example, I asked for metal to be nailed onto door creases to prevent rat entry.
– I had landlords before and was actually kicked for asking for window meshes.
– So, I did not want my family to be kicked because I want habitable living conditions. No more storage:
– I had to move my stuff out of storage because rent increased yearly.
– I basically couldn’t cover the cost anymore, even on my disability income.
– It was also not really “living” to live out of a suitcase.
– My things remained in boxes, but they were packed into the house. What happened to the rats who lived in the rooms like this one?
– I picked one up by its tail, then flung it at the concrete repeatedly, smashing it.
– I picked the rest up by their tails and threw them in the trash outside. What happened because my family did what I asked?
– Rats haven’t entered our rooms since 2018.
– A simple fix prevented years of headaches.By the end of 2018, my family paid $83,800 in rent to Napoli Assets LLC. Another year passed and the landlord did not do anything about the vent tubes or rat nests. Despite all of this, I got the rooms patched with metal to prevent rat entry, my possessions were out of storage and into the house.
2019 – Unpacking
Have I stopped being depressed?
– I came for my family but I also witnessed them struggle and hurt, but couldn’t help.
– Then I glued myself to MMORPGs to avoid looking at the house.
– The landlord didn’t maintain the house but forced me to watch it fall apart.
– All of this nonsense made me depressed and highly unmotivated to engage with people.
– However, during this year I decided to start living again.
– So, I unpacked and hung my clothes in the closet, therefore I attempted to be present.
– I called my friend from Germany to come help me clean up some rat shit.I went to Germany!
– Landlords in Germany are different, we never complained about anything!
– One day, there was a letter that someone would come by at 2 p.m. for maintenance.
– We left and came back to brand-new bathroom tiles, installed perfectly.
– I didn’t even notice the tiles had a slight crack.
– This is called preventative maintenance when someone comes, inspects, and then fixes.Let us process my experience with landlords:
– Why are American landlords so obsessed with pests and breaking their own property?
– I know how the landlady who kicked me for requesting window meshes used the repair cash.
– Her boss gave her $10k to install meshes but instead, she kicked me.
– She pocketed the money because in her mind bug meshes are irrelevant.
– Of course, as the tenant I wanted to be able to open my windows.
– It didn’t help that the area had locus swarms which got into everything. My return from Germany:
– Why is there now mold coming out of the vents in the ceiling?!
– Will this get fixed?
– These were questions I asked my mother and she said the landlord texted he’d come.
– Nothing happened, the landlord never did anything about it.
– No one cleaned the vents. What happened because of the moisture?
– What do you think happened?
– Everyone who was under a vent got a continuous dose of mold on their skin.
– We got ear infections which led to deafness.
– How do I know? How about the sharp pain suddenly happening in my ears?
– How about the fact that I don’t leave the house, therefore I’m getting infected inside.
– Ear wax can handle bacteria, but mold is a different beast.
– How do I know this? Because I’m educated, with 4 years experience in Microbiology.
– Even if we got treated for fungus, it would still return if we went under the vents.
– My mom sleeps with her feet under a vent, so she gets a constant dose of fungus daily.By the end of 2019, my family paid $103,000 in rent to Napoli Assets LLC. The landlord was made aware of the mold coming out to the vents, however, he never addressed the issue. Water started to drip out of vents, mold grew out of vents onto the ceiling, my mother’s feet had fungus, and rats continued to destroy food in the kitchen. In an attempt to get out of depression and live in the real world, I unpacked my things into the house from boxes.
2020/2021/2022 – Fungus, Mold, Rat Shit
The loop:
– Sharp pain in our ears!
– Hantavirus fevers!
– Fungus on skin exposed to air coming from vents!
– Mold growing where moisture is!I tried to survive:
– I bought remedies for ear pain.
– I cleaned, scrubbed the vents, and bought UV/C lights.
– I bought quite a bit over these years to fight the house issues.
– I started to sleep on the couch because my bed’s wood started to rot.
– All because the landlord doesn’t want to replace vent tubes.By the end of 2021, my family paid $164,200 in rent to Napoli Assets LLC, however, the house had become unsuitable for humans. By the end of 2022, everyone in the house participated in fighting the house issues not just me and my mother. My family rebuilt the patio to slow rat entry and bought a new stove, fridge, couch, etc. The rat damage was out of control in the kitchen while mold and moisture damaged porous surfaces.
2023 – I had enough
April:
– I wrote to the inspector general because the landlord wanted us to die.
– At this point, the Air Conditioning unit had stopped working since November.
– The tenants were afraid he’d kick them or add to their rent.
– However, in law everything the tenant fixes should come out of the rent.
– I asked again for the vent tubes to be fixed.May:
– The landlord replaced the AC unit after about 1 day of guys working on it.
– They didn’t change the vent tubes, so the unit will get debris again.
– The landlord sent guys to jump on the roof.
– The first time they came, as soon as I heard them I sent an e-mail to the landlord.
– I wanted him to stop sending guys on top of my room, and to stop cutting the tree.
– Damaging the tree or going on the roof was not on my list for him to fix.
– The branches were cut in 2011, and in 2014, so a canopy grew 4 feet above the roof.
– The canopy kept my side of the house cool for 12 years.
– Every room has at least 2 fans because that’s how well the AC worked in 20 years.
– Napoli ignored me and sent guys the day after to jump on the roof over my bed.July:
– The roof started to leak over my bed where I sleep.August:
– The landlord put a tarp on the house with holes.
– Despite the holes, the tarp was not draped on the damaged part of the roof.
– The tarp mostly covered the sides of the house and killed the plants there.September:
– The leak flow increased.
– I wrote an e-mail to Micheal Napoli asking him to get off his ass and fix this.
– He ignored me, he didn’t understand that soft wet wood meant an imminent collapse.
– The landlord was made aware that the leak worsened and he had enough time to act.
– This could have caused an injury because the roof fell where my daughter sleeps.
– She’s only 11 years old, so why does Napoli want her to die?
– It might be in the American culture to murder children. Was this an attempt?October:
– The ceiling collapsed onto my bed.
– 69 days went by from the time of the leak to the ceiling collapsing.
– Micheal Napoli now owes me for everything in my room and I have receipts.
– As a result of decisions made by Michael Napoli I had nothing left to sleep on.
– I wanted the landlord to at least get the debris removed, but he didn’t do that.
– You can see in the video how bad the collapse was, and debris all over my bed.October 5th:
– Guys were sent to build a new roof, ignoring the collapsed hole in my room.
– They started on the garage side but failed to cover our belongings in plastic.
– There are two beds in that space, one for my brother, and the other I tried to use.
– The men screwed holes into the ceiling and made a huge mess over the beds.
– This type of dust causes rashes on skin contact, so our bedding had to be washed.
– Failure to put protect beds while screwing holes, caused us 2 days to wash bedding.
– Additionally, I couldn’t sleep in the room because of fungus.October 30th:
– Micheal Napoli issued a vacate premisses notice to my family.
– After 20 years, we have 30 days to move from our home of record and community.
– Everyone knows we only talk to lawyers after the landlord issues a vacate notice.
– My things in the room with the collapsed ceiling took another trashing of debris.
– Zoey and I slept on the ground over the last few weeks.November:
– We concluded that the landlord had 9 years to solve issues affecting our home.
– He chose to ignore my mediation efforts and decided to damage my possessions.
– There is no remedying the situation, especially with the eviction letter.
– We’ve paid out of pocket for years to solve house issues, the landlord did what?December:
– My mom got bitten by a rat on her leg while she was sleeping!
– Moving proved to be difficult, especially since I don’t have an income and we have nowhere else to go.
– We are 6 people, 4 animals and need a house for cultural functions.
– We take care of each other, therefore we’d prefer not to be separated.
– The eviction letter asked not to leave things here.
– I suspect we’ll be getting rid of a lot of things to fit into a new place!By the end of 2023, my family paid over $184,000 in rent to Napoli Assets LLC. Over the past 9 years, my family has paid rent to a homeowner who neglected our home and imposed a lease on us while we lived there. Property issues such as pests and damaged vent tubes were ignored before and after the property changed ownership in 2014. The property itself is over 50 years old and the only way to solve all the problems would be to demolish and rebuild. Michael Napoli’s vacate notice to my family is extremely inappropriate, simply because common humans wouldn’t want rats clawing at them when they sleep. Any new tenant who comes to live here will face unsanitary and hazardous conditions that are uninhabitable for common humans. My family may not be the homeowners, but we managed the property. We had to do many things that common humans would not do or understand.
A little insight on our downsizing can be found here~
